Fearless Caregivers Conference
Thursday, November 6th
Are you overwhelmed by caregiving challenges? On Thursday, November 6th, the Oakdale theatre at 95 South Turnpike Road in Wallingford will be holding the Fearless Caregivers Conference from 8:30am - 2:30 pm, lunch included. A panel of caregiving experts will anser audience questions and offer advice on topics such as repites options, financial issues, stress management, etc. If interested, please register at caregiver.com or call 877-829-2734. Veterans Day Celebration

All the Clelian Center Veterans will be honored at the Center on Tuesday, November 11th.
National Memory Screening Day
Tuesday, November 18th
Concerned about Memory Problems? Take a free, confidential memory screening. An initiative of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. The Clelian Center is hosting a National Memory Screening Day on Tuesday, November 18th from 2-4pm. For more information call our nurse's office at 203-288-4151 ext. 644.
November 20th - 26th
Clelian Center will be celebrating Thanksgiving Themed Fun with Turkey Races, Football Game, Jingo and a Thanksgiving Prayer Service. We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 26th. Yummy!

Caregivers' Support Group

All are invited to the Clelian Center Caregivers' Evening Support Group. Our Support Group will be held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. For more information call the Clelian Center at 203-288-4151.

Winter is upon us! Please dress your loved ones appropriately, and label all outer garments.
Please remember to call the Center in the morning at 203-288-4151 if you or your loved one will be absent from the Center, also don't forget to cancel your ride with Greater New Haven My Ride at 203-288-6643. If your loved one has been hospitalized or absent for an extended period of time due to illness, a doctor's note is needed to return to the Center.
Emergency and Bad Weather Information:
The Clelian Center now has an emergency phone line that will be used as back up to our main number (203-288-4151), when our phone lines go down. The emergency phone line will also have instructions as to the opening and closing status of the Center due to bad weather conditions or power outages. Please do not leave messages on the emergency phone line, it is for instructions only. The emergency phone number is 203-530-2822.

In the spirit of Mother Clelia Merloni, Foundress of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the staff and volunteers of Clelian Center seek to meet the spiritual, psychological, social and medical needs of adults in a loving and caring environment. The therapeutic inter- generational program is designed to enhance the quality of life of each of its participants; the Center staff strives to promote daily interaction between children and adults.
